Midlight night
blue stars, noon moon. Scatters atoms, day, parts particles: Saturn skulked, horned horizon. See houses mousing holes trees breezing shadows. See shades unmade, meadows meander, cows mouths, cut, cud chewed, ruminant spewed. Clouds sloughing sundown's ferment, drowned firmament: owls rising, fervent prising, who who?

Another delicious rush of words!
Wonderful poem, Thomas! Do love the imagery and the style! What a lovely way to see dusk. Growing up on a ranch with cattle and nature's critters, I sure did appreciate this poetic experience. Blessings, ~Wendy💜
